According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the COVID-19 pandemic has brought social and racial injustice and inequity to the forefront of public health and has unequally affected many racial and ethnic minority groups, putting them more at risk of getting sick and dying from COVID-19.

In this post Pandemic times, these communities have shown resilience and are ready to move forward toward recovery and rebuilding.

Ottawa Public Health is inviting you to a community conversation that explores what communities need to recover from this pandemic and talk about health issues, mental health and substance use, health equity, and chronic disease prevention.
