Part-Time Community Shelter Support Worker

The Part-Time Community Shelter Support Worker will work within collaborative team to provide meaningful and relevant services to shelter residents and tenants within a theoretical feminist framework that includes a working knowledge of the dynamics and effects of trauma and oppression. This position will act as a resource to staff and participants and is responsible for providing a full range of services which includes crisis counselling, case management and the development, implementation and evaluation of workshops. This position shares in the responsibility of the overall health and safety of the building.

Manager of YWCA JUMP Etobicoke Programs(Contract)

The Manager of YWCA JUMP Etobicoke Programs is responsible for the overall operations of JUMP Etobicoke programs. This includes the development, planning, marketing and implementation of the programs in accordance with the mission of YWCA Toronto, the agreement with IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) other funders and the needs of the participants. This middle management position is also responsible for contributing to the overall management of the Association.

Logistics Worker - FT

The Logistics Worker is responsible for providing immediate and essential services to Government Assisted Refugees from various ethnic groups including temporary accommodation, food, supplies, transportation, and incidentals. Logistics worker is expected to work cooperatively with others; demonstrate flexibility in organizing work; strong conflict resolution skills; show a high degree of initiative, discernment, and resourcefulness; must have excellent communication skills, and demonstrate thoughtfulness in decision-making.

Settlement/Trauma Counselor

The Canadian Centre for Victims of Torture (CCVT) is looking for an experienced person to fill the position of a Settlement/Trauma Counselor. The Settlement counselor is part of a flexible and multi-disciplinary team who deliver services and enables survivors impacted by Torture, war, genocide and crimes against humanity and gender-based violence to regain their independence and quality of life with their families. The settlement counsellor is responsible for providing trauma-specific mental health counselling along with appropriate advocacy, case management, and education.

Data Analysis Facilitator

CCS is a settlement agency providing a range of services to immigrants and refugees regardless of race, religion or status and is the lead agency for the Toronto East Quadrant Local Immigration Partnership (TEQ LIP). CCS is seeking a full-time Data Analysis Facilitator for our Service Delivery Data Hub project, a partnership initiative with the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus and the Toronto East Quadrant Local Immigration Partnership. The Data Analysis Facilitator will work with the Research Partnership Manager to further build and implement an exciting collaborative data pooling and analysis project that helps build evidence to inform newcomer service delivery in Scarborough.

Facilitator, Group Programs

North York Women’s Centre (NYWC) relies on a pool of contract facilitators to support delivery of its group programs, which include but are not limited to the Women’s Empowerment Series. Facilitators are independent, fee-for-service contractors with appropriate training, knowledge and experience.
