Housing Support Administrator (12 months contract)

JIAS Toronto is currently looking a Housing Support Coordinator to join our team. In this role you will be supporting to JIAS clients in their search for housing. Working independently and in coordination with the Program and Settlement Teams to ensure clients receive guidance and assistance to secure appropriate housing solutions. This is a fulltime contract position for one year.

Supports include increased access to accurate information, social supports, capacity building, recreational and wellness activities.

Child And Family Social Worker

Reporting to the Manager, Transitional Housing and Skills for Life Programs at 101 Ontario Street, the Child and Family Social Worker is responsible for the provision of settlement programs and services to refugee children, families, singles and couples, delivered from an integrated anti-racism, access and equity framework. Ensures the successful transition and integration of refugee children, families, singles and couples in the Transitional Housing program. This fulltime position works weekdays from Tuesday to Saturday including one evening.

Community Worker-Canada Summer Job

BIES is seeking a skilled and creative individual to fill the two positions of Community Workers. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing digital content and developing and implementing fundraising tools to support our programs and services. The Community Worker will work collaboratively with our team to engage and communicate with our community, increase our visibility and impact, and enhance our fundraising efforts.

Resettlement Counsellor (Spanish-speaking)

Responsible for the delivery of all components of Client Support Services (CSS) program and supporting resettlement of government assisted refugees for one year after their arrival to Canada. This will include the provision of centralized case management, service coordination, coaching, and regular follow-up to ensure that refugees are connected to and participate in local programs that address their needs.

Camp Counsellor

Plan, organize, and deliver summer programming for children and youth that facilitate skills development and promotes health and well-being, team building, social connection, and positive relations, and to support settlement and integration of newcomer youth (immigrants/refugees).
