CCS is a settlement agency providing a wide range of services to immigrants and refugees regardless of race, religion or immigration status. CCS is seeking a Full time, (35 hours/week) Transitional and Housing Support Worker to support immigrant and refugee women who are in transition from situations of domestic violence and abuse.

Brampton Multicultural Community Centre (BMC) is a charitable organization, established in Peel Region in 1987. Its mandate and core business is to enable newcomers, immigrant individuals and families to achieve their full potential and become productive participants in their adopted land. The School Settlement Counsellor will provide settlement and counselling support services in first language to students and parents to ensure that newcomer families are aware of and enabled to access the full array of community services.

Through our professional staff, we are a leader in the provision of culturally responsive services to newcomers, families, women & seniors.

The Manager, Career & Newcomer Services will oversee the implementation of the Skilled Newcomer Incentive Bond Pilot Project and other projects as assigned. Funded by the Government of Canada, the Bond pilot project tests an innovative approach to address specific barriers faced by skilled newcomers to improve their labour market integration. This role includes leadership of a dedicated team, management of project budgets, reporting, and operational tasks. Relationship and partnership development with internal and external stakeholders is a key component of this role.
