MCIS Language Solutions, a non-profit social enterprise focused on improved access to critical information and services, is launching its Language Impact Challenge Grant ($25,000) with the first call for applications for funding.
This grant is intended to address gaps in funding for language advocacy in Ontario by supporting development of Language Advocacy Kit, a tool for both, newcomers to advocate on behalf of their communities and decision makers and influencers to advocate within their organizations.
The kit should help to influence policy change around language rights and help those interested in improving language accessibility to understand how to create an effective advocacy campaign.
The deadline for applications is October 1, 2017
