To submit proposals for projects under theWomen’s Program call for proposals entitled Feminist Response and Recovery Fund.
The objective of this Call for Proposals is to fund systemic change projects to support women’s recovery from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly for underrepresented women. Funding will be awarded to projects that either undertake new projects for systemic change, or scale up past projects that have led to demonstrable systemic change. Systemic change addresses or removes the root barriers preventing gender equality, it does not seek to change women to adapt to discriminatory systems. Priority will be given to proposals for systemic change projects that will address barriers for underrepresented women including those who are: Indigenous, racialized, newcomers, members of official language minority communities (OLMCs), seniors, young women and girls, LGBTQ2 women, low income, live with a disability and in a rural, remote and/or northern community.
The deadline for applications under this call for proposals is noon (12:00 p.m.) (Pacific Time), on March 25, 2021.
Before you get started, carefully read the information about the Call for Proposals on the WAGE website.
Organizations that are considering applying to the Feminist Response and Recovery Fund call for proposals should participate in an information session provided by Women and Gender Equality Canada.
