Summary:

The Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion launched an Open Call for Proposals for the Sectoral Workforce Solutions Program (SWSP). Eligible projects will help connect thousands of Canadians with the training they need to access good jobs in in-demand sectors. Priority will be placed on projects that support underrepresented groups, including women, persons with disabilities, Indigenous people, racialized Canadians, newcomers, and LGBTQ2 Canadians, and will also promote a diverse and inclusive workforce.

The deadline to submit a proposal through the Open Call for Proposals is March 18, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).

Information sessions in each official language will be held on February 15, 2022. Participants can join online or by teleconference.
