The government of Ontario is helping to build a new facility in the Durham region that will provide a variety of services and supports for people under one roof.

More Information:

The facility will move from its current aging building, into the new Hope Centre Durham Region, which will offer more community services in one space.

The building, which is expected to open by June 2018, will provide a variety of services, including support for survivors of domestic violence and their children, crisis support, intensive trauma counselling, sexual assault counselling and transitional housing support services.

This project is part of Ontario's support for community hubs, which help people access multiple services under one roof within their communities.
