Ontario's Government for the People is tearing down barriers and cutting red tape to make it easier for people to find an affordable place to live in Ontario.
The Premier delivered keynote remarks at the annual Ontario REALTOR Party Conference, the Ontario Real Estate Association's annual political affairs conference. He reinforced that Ontario is open for business, and committed to making it more appealing for developers to build rental housing.
The Premier highlighted other aspects of his government's Plan for the People that will help Ontario's real estate industry grow, including cutting red tape to make it easier to build the housing that's needed, and shorten the approval times to get shovels in the ground.

- Ontario’s current rental vacancy rate is 1.6 per cent, the province’s lowest level in 17 years.
