Together, Northwood Neighbourhood Services and Drama as a Second Language will provide a summer theatre and arts program this summer entitled West End Expressions - funded by the Toronto Arts Council.

West End Expressions (Summer Theatre and Arts Program)

West End Expressions (WEE) is a 7-week summer theatre and arts program, which aims to empower newcomer youth between the ages of 13 and 18 as they socially integrate into their immediate communities.

WEE will have a set group of teaching artists providing drama and arts education consistently throughout the summer. The teaching artists hired for the program would provide drama, vocal, and dance programming. The program will also include workshops from community guest artists.
