Statistics Canada questionnaire on the impacts of COVID-19 on Canadians

August 17, 2020 - 5:00pm
Online Event:

Statistics Canada invites you to participate in a crowdsourcing initiative to collect data on how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting people’s experiences of discrimination. We encourage you to participate in this questionnaire and share it among your networks and clients.

This online questionnaire is accessible from August 4 to 17, 2020 and Statistics Canada is aiming to publish the results in late August.

Invitation from Statistics Canada:

This questionnaire will ask if you have experienced discrimination based on race, sex, gender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability or language, and whether this has changed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We would also like to know how COVID-19 has impacted your trust in various institutions, the general public, and your neighbours. Data will help determine if discrimination during the pandemic has impacted certain groups more than others.

Please take a few minutes to complete the questionnaire and feel free to forward this email to others—the more people that participate, the better the data.

Participating is easy and secure
