Webinar 4: The Impact of Data Collection on Advocacy

  • Yasmeen Persad

This webinar will focus on research and data collection, with a specific focus on trans newcomers and refugees and their navigation of the immigration system.

This webinar is part of our Positive Spaces Initiative Frontline Series, hosted by a range of experienced professionals working in the sector exploring the theme of Advocacy through Research. LGBTQIA+ immigrants, refugees, and newcomers are integral, though often invisible, parts of our communities. How can we use research and data to inform our best practices for serving vulnerable and marginalized people?
