Many people have questions about how to get their family law matters addressed during COVID-19. What types of cases are the courts hearing and how are these cases being handled? How have access visits with children been affected? How can survivors of domestic violence stay safe?

Experts on family law and legal issues relating to domestic violence will join CLEO to provide practical information to help you answer these and other questions you are hearing from your clients. They will also talk about what legal services and supports are available to people at this time. (ASL interpretation will be available.)

Speakers:

  • Katharina Janczaruk, private bar Family Lawyer
  • Pamela Cross, Legal Director, Luke's Place Support and Resource Centre
  • Tami Moscoe, Senior Family Counsel, Superior Court of Justice

Have questions for our presenters? Please send them ahead of the webinar to michelle.cader@cleo.on.ca We will do our best to answer these during the webinar and those you bring to our live Q & A.

This information session is for front-line workers across Ontario who are looking for information and guidance to support clients at this time.
