“Collaborative Opportunities” project launched

The Collaborative Opportunities project aims to improve the efficiency and quality of employment and training services throughout the Province.

The project is a collaboration between the Ontario Network of Employment Skills Training Projects (ONESTEP)First Work, and the Ontario Literacy Coalition (OLC) with funding from by the Ontario Trillium Foundation Through community town hall meetings and discussions with key stakeholders, the project aims to enhance the cooperation between the three organizations and examine opportunities for streamlining services. The project will produce a strategic roadmap for how the three organizations and their membership can better work together in order to apprise stakeholders of client needs, service gaps and the effectiveness of services in order to better inform policy and programming decisions.

ONESTEP members and other service providers can look forward to participating in Town Hall, teleconference and webinar events over the next year.
