Join staff from the Maytree Foundation, ConnectLegal, The Internationally Educated Professionals Conference, City of Toronto and ACCESS Community Capital Fund for this free half-day seminar.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn how to help newcomers assess if self-employment is right for them
- Hear from Dr. Sarah Wayland, author of the report: Immigrant Self-Employment and Entrepreneurship in the GTA
- Learn what resources and support services exist to assist newcomer entrepreneurs
- Hear from a panel of immigrant entrepreneurs
