International Day in Support of Victims of Torture

The Canadian Centre for Victims of Torture (CCVT) will be celebrating the United Nations’ International Day in Support of Victims of Torture on June 26.
This will be a full day celebration with a morning panel comprised of a psychiatrist, a lawyer, a CCVT Trauma Counselor and a Survivor.
Lunch will be provided free of charge and the afternoon will include a guest speaker, Mr. Eric W. Hoskins, the Ontario Minister of Children and Youth Services as well as a volunteer appreciation session. The afternoon will also be full of music and international entertainment.
